leonard rosoman (continued...)
Rosoman studied at the Royal Academy Schools and Central School of Arts and Crafts from 1935 to 1937, and taught at Camberwell School of Art, Edinburgh College of Art, the Royal College and Chelsea School of Art. He became an Official War Artist to the Admiralty in 1943. He was elected to the Royal Academy in 1960 and became a Senior Academician in 1989.
His intuitive teaching skills helped form the output of generations of
artists, and his entirely individual, often humorous style has brought
pleasure to thousands.
