Winter Antiques Show
|
The Fine Art Society will be at the Winter Antiques Show at the Park Avenue Armory, New York from 22-31 January.
An array of Victorian paintings, by artists including John Everett Millais, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Lawrence Alma-Tadema and Albert Moore will be on display this year. Easter Eggs a major work by Glasgow school painter E.A.Hornel will be shown alongside John Lavery's early painting, Goose Girls. A recent important disocvery is Crystofore by Joseph Southall. It has not been exhibited since it was shown at the International Exhibition in Turin in 1902.
