Patrick Bourne
Managing Director 19th and 20th Century British Art, particularly Scottish Art
Patrick Bourne has been dealing in Scottish paintings since 1972 and established Bourne Fine Art in Edinburgh in 1978. Bourne Fine Art and The Fine Art Society merged in 2004 when he became Managing Director of the group.
He is a leading specialist on Scottish Art and the author of the monograph on Anne Redpath (Atelier Books, 2004).
He was Chairman of The Society of London Art Dealers from 2005-2010.

Gordon Cooke has been a print dealer for over 30 years, specialising in 19th & 20th century British prints, first with Garton & Cooke, then Gordon Cooke Ltd, before joining The Fine Art Society in 1997.
He has organised five exhibitions of Whistler’s work, the most recent in 2007, two major shows of Sickert’s prints in 2002 and 2004, and Samuel Palmer’s Complete Etchings in 1999. Other exhibitions at The Fine Art Society include Geoffrey Clarke, Pastoral, Graham Sutherland and Paul Nash.
He was a founder member of the International Fine Print Dealers’ Association and served on the Board; he is also Chairman of the London Original Print Fair which he founded in 1985.

Simon Edsor joined The Fine Art Society in 1966, and has been a Director since 1979.
He has organised exhibitions which include (most recently) Frank Brangwyn, Architects for a New Age and a large survey of Alfred Gilbert and the New Sculpture. He has acted as consultant on many museum exhibitions in Britain and internationally and has published articles on architectural, decorative arts and sculpture.
He has curated the Forbes collection of Victorian Art for the past 30 years. He is past chairman of the De Morgan Trustees, past chairman of the Decorative Arts Society, and past Chairman and Trustee of the Fine Arts Provident Institution.

Robert Upstone joined The Fine Art Society in 2010 from Tate Britain, where he was Curator of Modern British Art.
During his 23 years at the Tate, Robert curated major exhibitions including (most recently) Vorticism, William Orpen: Teaching the Body and Modern Painters: The Camden Town Group at Tate Britain, Sickert in Venice at Dulwich Picture Gallery, and J.W.Waterhouse: The Modern Pre-Raphaelite at The Royal Academy.
He has written, edited and contributed to a long list of books and catalogues produced in conjunction with major museum exhibitions, and to academic journals.

Kate Bryan joined as the Head of Contemporary in 2011 from The Cat Street Gallery in Hong Kong where she was the Gallery Director.
During her four years in Hong Kong, Kate was responsible for bringing important international names to the HK art world including solo shows for Sir Peter Blake, Gavin Turk, David Mach, Debbie Han and a collaboration between David Lynch and the shoe designer Christian Louboutin. She was the Hong Kong Contributing Editor for Asian Art News and World Sculpture News as well as a regular contributor of arts and travel features for Kee Magazine, Sentinel Magazine and The South China Morning Post.
Prior to moving to Asia Kate worked at the British Museum for 5 years.
